Black Woods Blizzard Tour raises over $1.6M

Throughout its 26 year history, the tour has raised nearly $21 million, supporting individuals living with ALS and their families.

The 2025 Black Woods Blizzard Tour raised $1,631,400 to provide support in the battle against ALS. 260 snowmobilers covered an average of 420 miles each.

On Thursday, February 6th the riders hit the trails from Black Bear Casino Resort in Carlton and headed up to Lake Vermilion at Fortune Bay Resort in Tower, then it was on to Grand Rapids—and back.

On Saturday, February 8, a Welcome Home celebration dinner awaited the snowmobilers as they returned to Carlton from the three-day long ride around the Northland.

Throughout its 26 year history, the tour has raised nearly $21 million, supporting individuals living with ALS and their families.

ALS is a progressive disease affecting nerve cells in the brain and spinal cord.
