Incorporating humor and history, Duluth artists Brian and Sue Matuszak will tell the stories of Minnesota artists and the public artworks they created throughout the Arrowhead Region of Minnesota during the Federal Art Project, a program sponsored by the Works Progress Administration of President Roosevelt in 1935. Many of these art pieces are still around to be enjoyed today, while others have disappeared under mysterious, and not-so-mysterious, circumstances. This free program is 1 hour long and is geared towards adults, teens, and anyone interested in Minnesota History.

This program, sponsored by Arrowhead Library System, was funded in part or in whole with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund (ACFH). To learn more about Arrowhead Legacy Events, please see our calendar at www.alslib.info or like us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/alslibinfo.
